Halloween.

So I lost my camera a week before Halloween. I did manage to get a few pics on my mom's camera, but who knows how long it will take me to get the camera to Costco and download pics! She got a few of my kids a few days earlier at her Halloween party, so at least I can show you how cute they looked in their costumes! (I will add the pictures from Halloween day later). Oh, and I did find my camera 2 days ago at the school. I almost cried I was so happy!

Wanting what I can't have...

Sofie 1 day old.

Why is it that we always want what we can't have? For the last 9 years (since being married) I have been saying I only want 2 kids. Then we had one boy and one girl. Perfect. 2 healthy, beautiful children. What more could I ask for? That is exactly what I have always said I wanted. And since the birth of Thomas, when people ask, I say, "We are SO done having babies!!!" But, in the back of my mind I always thought I would have one more down the road. On Tuesday the Doctor informed us that we will definitely be having no more kids... My husband's pituitary gland is not functioning at all (and it produces ALL of the hormones in your body, it's the "mother" gland), so he will no longer have any little "swimmers". I suddenly got really sad at the realization that we really are DONE having kids - although we have said that all along - it;s a different story when someone tells you that you are done and you have no say in the matter! So anyway, here's to wanting what you can't have!
Oh, and I quote my husband EXACTLY, "This is the best news I've gotten in the last 2 months!" I guess I was the only one holding out hope that we would have one more little rugrat running around here!

My Birthday.

We went to the Bayou with my family and a couple of our friendsfor my Birthday. It was so much fun, and as usual SO YUMMY. We did the same thing for my hubby's birthday, but I don't care, I love it! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family, especially my mom, who continually goes out of her way to help and support us!!!

Notice that the Birthday Girl is the only one that looks like a total dork in the picture. Oh well, at least you can see everyone else!

Am I really 32??? When I was a kid, that sounded really old, but I still feel like a kid, so that must not be OLD!

I HATE getting sung Hapy Birthday to. But the cake was really yummy, so it was worth it!

My mom and me. I wish I had thought to get a picture with everyone, but I was too busy having fun!

We'll post some pics when the whole family is dressed up, but I couldn't resist posting this little preview!

Witches...

We went with my cousins and all of our kids to Gardner Village to see the witches. The weather was perfect and the kids were all nice. Miracle? I think so...

Sofie and Thomas sittin with the pumpkins.

All of the cousins (2nd cousins really).
Quinn Rose, Sofie, Thomas, Caleb, Will, Cohen, Cecilia.

Sofie with Cohen.

Sofie giving me her usual 'tude.

Thomas couldn't have cared less about the withces, but the sucker was very exciting.

Caleb, Sofie, and Sadie looking for fish in the pond (swamp, really).

Sofie and Sadie climbing the walls.

All the cousins (we were missing a few though).
Breck, Mackenzie, Ashlie, Dusti, and Tiffany.

My attempts at getting a decent picture of Thomas.

Anybody out there have a 2 year old? Anybody recall having a 2 year old? The messes. The climbing. The tantrums. The even bigger messes. Even bigger tantrums. And then the moments that make you forget all of that and remember how lucky you are to have them?

Thomas, when I told him to say cheese. Life's so hard when you're 2!

Caught his attention for a millisecond when I said the word car.

Have I mentioned his obsession with cars?

Rolling his eyes at me. Pretty sure he got that one from his sister, who is 5 going on 13.

He made me put this one on here. Ok he didn't. But if he could talk, he would have. This is Flo. Thomas very much likes her. OBSESSED with cars. I mean it.

I know this is alot of pictures. But in my completely unbiased opinion, I thought they were all too cute to leave out.

My little monkey. LOOK AT THOSE EYES!

Again with the eyes. Watch out ladies. Here comes Thomas. And duck too, because he'll probably throw a car at you...
